Our Aircraft

Details of our fleet of aircraft and our state of the art flight simulators:

Beech Sierra

Our Aircraft: Beech Sierra

The single engine version of the Beech Duchess is an ideal training aircraft.
Stable, easy to fly, and with a spacious cockpit, the Sierra has retractable gear, a constant speed propeller, and a 200 HP fuel injected engine.

Our Sierra is IFR equipped with Garmin 430, King nav radios, HSI and RMI. The Sierra is used for some of our CPL courses as well as for the single engine Instrument Rating for the PPL/IR.

Beech Duchess

Our Aircraft: Beech Duchess

According to many pilots, the Beech Duchess is the ideal multi-engine training aircraft. The layout of the cockpit and ease of operating the systems, together with the stability of the aircraft, make the Beech Duchess a pleasure to fly.

Our fleet of Duchesses are all IFR equipped with Garmin 430, King nav radios, HSI and RMI. We offer multi-engine piston ratings and CPL flying as well as IFR training on this aircraft.

FNPT2 Simulator

Our Aircraft: FNPT2 Simulator

Our Beech Duchess/Sierra FNPT2 simulator is a state of the art simulator with dynamic control loading and a realistic visual. It enables virtually every aircraft exercise to be completed in a true to life way.

It has been designed to replicate the cockpit of the aircraft and to fly like the aircraft and is fitted in exactly the same way including our standard Garmin 430 and Bendix King avionics.

PAT policy is that every student should reach a high standard in the FNPT 2, including workload and ATC management, before moving on to the aircraft.

The FNPT 2 is used to carry out IR revalidations, with the option of using any route or IFR approach right across Europe.

FNPT1 Simulator

Our Aircraft: FNPT1 Simulator

The cockpit layout and operating performance of our FNPT1 provide the ideal foundation for the development of instrument techniques and procedures on our CPL and IR courses.

In this trainer, students normally fly 5 hours of the CPL and 10 hours of the IR course. This device is used to achieve a high standard of instrument flying, tracking and approaches.
